DMOZ Submission is Back

Just noticed DMOZ submission is back up.

It’s been down for some time and I was wondering if it would ever reappear, especially after the crash the system had back in December.

Maybe this little break means they’ve cleared the backlog of submitted sites?!

Well, I’m going to give it a go and submit this site. You never know.

I submitted my site over a year ago and nothing. How long does it take to get in the DMOZ?

I don’t think anyone really knows.

Following their guidelines, you submit your site once and then hope for the best. I think you can be lucky if you submit to a category that has a keen and uncorrupted editor, but otherwise you just have to wait.

A year huh? It’s a long time to wait.

Well, I suppose it shows that submitting is worth it.

Great information about the dmoz because i was waiting for submitting my site in dmoz. But i don’t know when it will allow to submit. How much time it will take to place my link in this directory. Please reply through comment. Thank you for this valuable information.
